About Us
Since our founding in 2021, Give Basic Needs has been driven by one simple, powerful philosophy: Small Acts. Big Happy. We deliver dynamic, high-impact medical giving events, and we need passionate, resilient, and highly empathetic professionals to make the magic happen. We are currently building our roster of As-Needed (PRN) Contractors to serve as the heartbeat of our clinic operations in Tamale.
The Opportunity
This isn't your average clinic shift. Our field events are fast-paced, highly organized ecosystems where every single touch-point matters. Whether you are delivering life-changing medical news or ensuring our digital queues never skip a beat, your work directly impacts the dignity and care of our patients.
When you join our roster, you can be scheduled for various dynamic roles based on your credentials and our event needs:
Clinical Champions:
- Vitals (Row 1): The first clinical touch-point. You have a luxurious 4 minutes to build immediate trust, take basic vitals, and set a calming tone for the patient's journey.
- Lab Draw (Row 2)*: The physical pivot point. You will manage safe, precise finger pricks for rapid bio-testing while actively calming highly anxious patients.
- Lab Read (Row 2)*: The highest emotional intelligence role on the floor. You will hold space for patients, celebrating negative results and delivering compassionate support for positive ones.
- Vaccine (Row 3)*: The "Happy Path." A joyful, highly efficient station where you administer the Hep B vaccine to deeply relieved patients.
- Consult (Row 4)*: The "Heavy Path." Reserved for MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, or Behavioral Health experts. You dictate your own pace, sitting with patients receiving life-altering diagnoses to provide deep human connection and treatment options.
- Inventory Management (Row 5): The final touch-point. You dispense allocated items with dignity, update our Smiley ERPNext system, and complete the circle of care.
- Float Team*: The operational safety net. You roam the clinic ecosystem to relieve bottlenecks, cover mandatory "Rolling Lunches," and provide mental health breaks for our front-line rows.
* Professional Medical License Proof Required During the Interview.
Operational Rockstars:
- App Scribe: The digital gatekeeper. You absorb administrative friction upfront by verifying IDs and initiating digital files on smartphones so our medical team can focus purely on the patient.
- Flow Navigator: The system glue. You compassionately guide overwhelmed patients between rows, ensuring no one gets lost, and safeguard unaccompanied minors.
- Color Line: The psychological temperature controller. Stationed at the Phase 0 Buffer with a PA system, you project calm authority and act as the primary barrier against scarcity-driven panic.
- Phone Runner: The logistical heartbeat. You continuously sprint our sanitized "Digital Clipboards" from the exit back to the entrance, ensuring our 10 Clinic Units never stop moving.
Compensation, Perks & Logistics
